mychai's Diaryland Diary

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gentlemen, Start Your Hell Days!

Tomorrow will be the first Hell Day in, gosh... nearly four months.

For all of you JP-Land newbies, I guess I should explain to you what Hell Day is and what it means for my diary.

Ya know how crappy I feel after working my normal eleven-hour days at work? Like tonight, for instance? Well, add on another six hours of school, turning my eleven-hour day into a seventeen-hour day. That, my friends, is a Hell Day.

I'm not looking forward to it, but at least this year's Hell Day won't be as bad as the previous years' Hell Days. My College must read this here diary, because after a year and a half of me bitchin' and moanin' about Hell Day, they changed the schedule up.

Instead of holding the first class at 4:20, they moved it up to 5:15. So, if I am completely dead to the world, I can come home after work and sleep for an hour.

So... As soon as I finish up tonight's entry, I will change out of today's clothes, slip under my covers, and say goodbye to Summer Vacation 2002.

I did a lot during my summer vacation: I went to Chicago where I met some neat people and listened to a lot of really great live music; I went home for ten days where I cooked a lot, spent some quality time with family and my friend Lisa, and won over NINETY FRIGGIN DOLLARS at the casino, boo-yeah; I went to MEPS -- twice -- the second time because I couldn't get my "beef soldier" to let go of the lemonade; and I utilized a lot of great curse words while attempting to fish several times.

I still say some of the phrases I used on those fishing trips will have to be accounted for when I get to the Pearly Gates.

I've been chatting with the ex I mentioned in the last entry. And I must say...

Chatting with an ex who is married to an actual guy is soooo refreshing.

Well, that's about it for tonight. Nothing good is coming to my mind as I sit here thinking of what I should write.

I have been meaning to write about the new shows on NBC. Since I work for an NBC affiliate, I get to watch all of the new show pilots before anyone else. So, I have seen all of the new shows, from "The In-Laws" to "American Dreams." I plan on giving you a quick little run-down.

That will come in the next day or two. It depends how Hell Day goes tomorrow.

And, in the tradition started by Good Friend Kourtney, you shall all write me "Hello on Hell Day" emails. You don't have to say much.

Just hello.

And a "you're hot and sexy" here and there wouldn't hurt.
