A quickie to let you know what's up.

I have access to a computer every day. I'm just not taking advantage of my free time to come give you all the 4-1-1 of what is going in my area of the world.

Things Going On In My Area of the World:

• I am wondering if the Air Force decision was a right one for me. I'm almost 26 (my birthday is less than three months away), and I have no input into the major decisions of my own life. Hmm. Not the best feelings springing forth. I'm sure I'll delve into this topic later on when I have more time.
  
• My tech school has been extended. A lot. It has almost doubled to the length of 30 weeks. I will be in South Mississippi until at least the first week of March of next year. The good news is I will get to be with my family a lot. The bad news? Thirty damn weeks.
  
• I am reading Rainer Marie Rilke's "Letters to a Young Poet" and I think it is one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read. It is great reading for anybody who likes to write. Rilke also went to military training and hated it, and he loves solitude. Maybe -- just maybe -- I am his reincarnate.
  
• I got a sunburn on my head the last week of BMT due to a change of hats and a shaved noggin. Now, I have a mad case of the Monster Dandruff. It's nasty.
  
• The food here is nowhere near as good as it was at BMT. Oh, well. At least I'll get to go home on the weekends and get some good Momma food.

That's all I have time to write at this moment. I am making some changes to the diary, as you can see. I am working on a brand new layout and all kinds of goodies that will come about in the next month or so.

I still don't have my email up and working. I guess I should ask Andrew what is up. So, sorry if you have emailed me and I can't read it.
